2015 Rules Seminars
How would you like to shave some strokes off your game? Guess what? We’ve got a golf rules seminar for you!
This is a great year to learn the Rules of Golf and have fun too! These seminars will focus on using the Rules of Golf book, Decisions on The Rules of Golf book and on the issues and concepts relating to relief procedures.

Format: A review of key elements of the Rules of Golf and the Decisions Book. The format consists of a lecture using Power Point for two days and an optional exam on the third day. Participants should review the text of the Rules of Golf prior to the seminar for the best experience. Each day will begin at 8 a.m. and conclude at 5 p.m. The exam starts at 8 a.m. and finishes at 11:30 a.m., followed by a review of test questions. Plan to stay for the review as it is a great learning tool. Review will finish by 1:30 p.m.
Hotel Reservations: All attendees must make their own hotel and travel reservations. It is advisable to make hotel reservations early.

Fees for Seminars
NCGA Volunteer $100
NCPGA Member $150 (NCPGA class A members in good standing receive 16 MSR credits in the Required category)
NCGA Member: $200
Includes: Continental breakfast each morning; two lunches; Study Guide; 2012-2015 Rules of Golf; 2015-2015 Decisions on the Rules of Golf; 2014-2015 NCGA Big-Little Book
Exam Only Option: $25 An exam only registration will be available for 2015. Those registering for exam only are NOT entitled to attend any other segment of the workshop program. Registrants are entitled to take the exam and attend the exam review.
Cancellation: Withdrawal/Transfer Policy: If cancellation is made 10 or more working days before the seminar, there will be a refund of the full amount minus a $10 administration fee. If withdrawing less than five working days before the seminar there will be NO refund. A transfer of sites made less than 10 working days before the seminar will incur an additional $15 transfer fee.
On Course Seminars
You can also learn the Rules of Golf in an informal “On Course” venue.
From water hazards to bunkers and obstructions – you’ll have an opportunity to learn and then apply the Rules. Whether playing with friends on a Saturday morning or participating in one of our NCGA Tournaments – knowledge of the Rules will greatly enhance your game. The NCGA’s Education and Rules department invites you to attend one of our 2015 On Course Rules Seminars.

*The Fall Seminars include Teeing Ground, Out of Bounds, Ball Unplayable and Scoring.

A list of various meetings and seminars will be displayed – click on the “On Course” Seminar of your choice, wait until it highlights in yellow and then follow the prompts to register.

NCGA Members: $40
*Fees include continental breakfast, lunch and a copy of the 2012-2015 Rules of Golf book.
